Self-Management

Objectives:

At the end of the session, the participant will have:

  • An understanding of self-management and its role in the management of lung disease.
  • An understanding of the relationship between self-management and behaviour change.
  • Knowledge of the benefits of self-management.
  • Identified areas for improvement in self-management.
  • Developed a plan to improve self-management of their chronic
    lung disease.

Facilitator

This session may be facilitated by a respiratory nurse, psychologist, social worker or physiotherapist.
